This article explores the historical and cultural layers of English and Uzbek anthroponymy. It analyzes the formation, development, and transformation of personal names across different historical periods. Special attention is given to the influence of religious, social, cultural, and political factors on naming systems. The study reveals both universal and specific features of English and Uzbek anthroponymic traditions.
