This article analyzes the linguocultural functions of anthroponyms found in English and Uzbek phraseological units. It explores the social, cultural, and historical meanings that anthroponyms convey within idiomatic expressions and how they reflect the national mentality. A comparative linguocultural analysis is conducted to highlight the similarities and differences in the usage of anthroponyms in both languages. The findings demonstrate that anthroponyms play a significant role not only as nominative elements but also as carriers of semantic and cultural meanings in linguistic expressions.
