The article examines contemporary methodological approaches to teaching computer science in the context of the rapid development of information and communication technologies and the digitalization of society. The author emphasizes the necessity of transitioning from traditional forms of teaching to interactive, problem-oriented, and project-based methods aimed at fostering critical thinking, independence, and practical skills in using digital technologies among students. Special attention is given to the utilization of digital tools - interactive whiteboards, online platforms, visual programming environments - as well as the importance of personalized and differentiated learning. The advantages of distance and hybrid learning in modern conditions are also explored. The article underscores the role of the teacher as a mentor and facilitator of the educational process, who must continuously enhance their qualifications and adapt teaching methods to the swiftly changing requirements of the digital age.
