This article analyzes the methodological foundations of teaching computer science in higher education institutions. It examines the possibilities of using modern methodological approaches and information-communication technologies in the educational process. The article also discusses methods for activating students, developing independent thinking skills, and connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application. Furthermore, it proposes methodological approaches aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of computer science education.
