This article explores the use of metaphorical framing in political rhetoric, with a specific focus on cross-linguistic differences and similarities between Uzbek and English discourses. By analyzing political speeches, media statements, and campaign slogans, the study investigates how metaphors shape public perception and political ideologies. The research draws on Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Critical Discourse Analysis to uncover culturally rooted metaphorical patterns and their persuasive power in political communication. The findings reveal both universal and language-specific strategies of metaphor usage in political narratives.
