This article explores the phenomenon of the lyrical hero in 20th-century Uzbek poetry using poetic and comparative and typological approaches. The study examines the artistic nature, aesthetic function, and role of the lyrical hero in the development of national literature through the works of Abdulhamid Cholpon, Usman Nosir, and Gafur Gulom. The lyrical hero is interpreted as an artistic category formed through the unity of individual emotional experiences and socio-spiritual content, and its national-romantic, romantic-individual, and socio-realist typology is identified. Comparative analysis reveals the evolution of the lyrical hero’s image, its poetic function, and its dynamics within the literary process. The research results contribute to the development of poetics and the theory of the lyrical hero in Uzbek literary studies. The methodology relies on historical-literary, comparative-typological, and poetic analysis, enabling a comprehensive study of 20th-century Uzbek poetry.
