This article explores the concept of creative thinking and its pedagogical significance. Key characteristics—flexibility, originality, and plasticity—and their role in developing students’ creative abilities are discussed. It is shown that creative thinking fosters analytical and critical thinking, independence, social adaptation, and innovative competence. An analysis of the literature and pedagogical practice confirms that active learning methods, an individualized approach, and interdisciplinary strategies effectively develop creative abilities in the educational process.
