This article analyzes the psychological and pedagogical features of developing media literacy among students in vocational education in the context of digitalization. The study is grounded in the competency-based approach, the principles of media pedagogy, and the integration of digital educational technologies. The research examines pedagogical mechanisms aimed at developing students’ skills in critical information analysis, evaluation of the reliability of media sources, digital communication culture, and media content creation. The results of the experimental study demonstrate that the use of interactive teaching methods, media text analysis, project-based learning, and digital educational platforms significantly enhances students’ levels of media literacy. The findings confirm that the development of media literacy in vocational education plays a crucial role in fostering students’ critical thinking, analytical abilities, and digital communication competence.
