This article examines the concept of communicative skills, their developmental characteristics, and theoretical models. The development of age-related communicative skills, the process of language acquisition among primary school students, and the main factors that shape them in the educational process are analyzed. In addition, the possibilities for increasing the effectiveness of the communication process through information transmission, interactive, and contextual models are discussed. Modern pedagogical approaches, including cognitive-social, socio-emotional, and integrative technologies, are also considered in developing methods for improving communicative skills.
