The article examines the treaties and various agreements concluded between the Bukhara Emirate and the Russian Empire, as well as the development of trade-economic and diplomatic relations based on these treaties. It analyzes the issue of railway construction within the territory of the Bukhara Emirate as reflected in the agreements signed between the two states. The study also highlights that in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the Russian government began investing capital in the development of virgin and irrigated lands in the Bukhara Emirate. Issues such as land leasing across all regions of the emirate by Russian officials and entrepreneurs are also explored.
