Toponyms represent a valuable linguistic and cultural-spiritual heritage for all countries, created by humanity over centuries. One of the key features of place names is that, in addition to designating specific locations, they also reflect social and historical information about the development of modern society, often rooted in the ideological views of the past. In this article, using the example of toponyms from the Andijan region, the composition, grammatical structure, and lexical-semantic groups of godonyms (street names) are analyzed.
