The article examines religious geographical names that are the basis of the names of neighborhoods and streets in the cities and districts of the Andijan region, names associated with religion in general in Turkish languages, such suffixes as father, saint, grandfather, Islam, momo, light, ziya, sheikh, thoughts and comments are presented.
