This paper comprehensively explores the content and essence of the concept of reflection as a crucial component of the pedagogical process. Reflection is analyzed not merely as a tool for assessing a learner’s level of mastery, but as a mechanism that ensures self-awareness, critical thinking, and personal development. Furthermore, the role of different types of reflection (intellectual, sensory, and emotional) in modern lessons and the methodological approaches to their organization are described. The research findings contribute to strengthening subject–subject relationships and enhancing the quality of education.
