Potential and Prospects for the Application of Solar Air Collectors in Uzbekistan's Innovative Energy Sector

The article discusses the results of calculating the potential of a solar air collector for use in the Republic of Uzbekistan. A study of the potential of a flat-design SVK, as the simplest to implement, was conducted for a collector installed horizontally under operating conditions in July in the city of Fergana. To calculate the temperatures of the absorber and the air in the solar air heater chamber, a heat exchange model was adopted. According to this model, solar radiation entering the glazing surface of the collector passes through the glass and transfers its energy to the absorber wall, which in turn partially reflects and convects the incoming solar radiation. The mathematical model is formulated as an equation solved using the method of successive approximations. The resulting calculations of the absorber wall temperature and the heated air made it possible to determine the degree of air heating in the collector.
