This scientific article analyzes the formation, stages of development and methodological foundations of the digital history direction in Uzbekistan from the point of view of scientific source studies. The study covers gradually the integration of digital history with information and communication technologies, Digital Humanities, digitization, metadata, artificial intelligence and geoinformation systems. The experience of Uzbekistan is also analyzed in comparison with international scientific schools and the epistemological status of digital history in national historiography is substantiated.
