This article examines digital discrimination against women as a new form of gender inequality in international law in the context of global digital transformation. It argues that while digital technologies expand opportunities for the realization of fundamental rights and freedoms, the digital environment simultaneously becomes a space in which gender inequality is reproduced and intensified through new forms of digital violence and discrimination. The article analyzes digital violence as a systemic phenomenon that undermines women’s freedom of expression, right to privacy, human dignity, and participation in public and social life. The research is based on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the practice of the CEDAW Committee, demonstrating that states bear positive international legal obligations to prevent digital discrimination and to ensure substantive gender equality in the digital sphere.
