This article analyzes the process of formation of Uzbek terminology, especially in the context of industry logistics and its linguistic features. Terms borrowed from Turkish languages and their theoretical justification are explored. Particular attention is paid to the development of modern Uzbek literary language and terminology during the period of independence. The author presents an analysis of the social conditions and factors that contributed to the development of Uzbek terminology, emphasizing the significant role of Uzbek and other languages in the creation and evolution of the terminological system. The forms of terms and ongoing terminological research, as well as key processes in Uzbek terminology during the years of independence are discussed.
