This article examines logistics terminology through the interaction of spatial and temporal semantic components. Its conceptual framework draws on chronotope, deixis and cognitive semantics. The study critically reinterprets aggregate findings from a 320-item terminological sample supplied in the underlying research materials, distinguishing space-dominant, time-dominant, chronotopic and chronotopically neutral terms. Translation patterns reported for 89 space-dominant items are used to examine shifts from spatial imagery to process-oriented expressions, image retention, descriptive translation and borrowing. Examples including last-mile delivery, bottleneck, hub, lead time, dwell time and just-in-time demonstrate why literal correspondence may fail to preserve the professional concept. The article proposes a concept-first procedure for selecting Uzbek equivalents and identifies the limitations of conclusions based solely on aggregate figures.
