This article analyzes phraseological units of the Uzbek language, which reflect the concept of “shame”. Phraseologisms, which have accumulated centuries-old traditions and cultural meanings, play a key role in the preservation and transmission of cultural identities. The work examines the figurative, conceptual and value aspects of this concept through the prism of proverbs and sayings. The analysis highlights how deeply the concept of “shame” is integrated into social and cultural aspects of Uzbek life, demonstrating its influence on behavioral norms and moral guidelines of society.
