This article is devoted to the role and significance of Khorezm music in the history of Uzbek music. The originality of this local style, its melodies, maqoms, suvors, and the art of the epic are discussed. These are the role of Suvars in the Khorezm musical art, their order and some other issues. In addition, many of the instrumental and chanting techniques of a number of modern maqom series are precisely the features of the regime and method that take priority, and certain forms are formed through their interaction.
