This article analyzes human trafficking as a threat to human rights. It reveals the social and legal consequences of the problem and highlights the mechanisms of cooperation between state bodies and civil society institutions. The norms of national legislation are compared with international standards, and the effectiveness of their practical implementation is assessed. The perspectives of field specialists and scholars are also examined. The article outlines preventive measures aimed at combating human trafficking, enhancing legal awareness among the population, and strengthening social partnerships.
