This article analyzes the linguocultural features of humor and irony in the Uzbek and English languages. Humor and irony, as significant communicative tools, reflect a nation’s mentality, values, historical experience, and linguistic worldview. The study compares the lexical-semantic, pragmatic, and cultural aspects of humor and irony in both languages, exploring their functions in speech and their role in intercultural communication. Additionally, the article discusses linguocultural challenges in translating humor and irony.
