This article examines the pedagogical aspects of speech instruction in school settings as a crucial component of students' overall development. Special attention is given to methods and techniques for developing speech competence in school-age children, the teacher's role in facilitating verbal interaction, as well as conditions that promote the development of oral and written communication skills. The study aims to identify effective pedagogical strategies that contribute to the formation of students' sustainable speech skills and speech culture.
