This article endeavors to shed light on the activities of Tatar-Bashkir enlighteners in the periodical press of Turkestan. It highlights the objectives of the Russian Empire's colonizers in organizing the press, as well as the collaborative efforts between Jadid enlighteners and Tatar-Bashkir progressives in establishing a national press.
