This article endeavors to provide a detailed examination of the emergence, widespread adoption, and developmental processes of printing in Turkestan. It sheds light on the Russian colonizers' objectives in establishing printing houses, as well as the collaborative efforts between Turkestan enlighteners and progressives from various nationalities in laying the foundation for national printing and press. The article also introduces new information regarding the origins of printing into scholarly discourse.
