This scientific article provides an in-depth analysis of the legal liability of the loader in cases of overloading during road freight transportation. Due to the weak legal basis of this issue in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in practice, liability is predominantly imposed on the carrier and the driver. This leads to injustice in the transport system, distorts the competitive environment, and contributes to the deterioration of infrastructure. The article analyzes the mechanisms of loader liability based on advanced legal practices in Australia, the European Union, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Proposals are also made to amend the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
