This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the issues related to documenting the inspection process and its results. It highlights the procedural and forensic aspects of recording an inspection, pointing out the differences and specific features between them. The structure of the inspection report is detailed, including the content of its introductory, main, and concluding sections, as well as the information that should be reflected in each part. Additionally, the author puts forward proposals regarding the matter of making amendments and additions to the inspection report after it has been signed. Furthermore, the article analyzes problems that arise when preparing inspection reports, particularly the difficulty in reading the report, lack of sufficient information, and inadequate description of crime traces. Specific recommendations are provided to address these shortcomings.
