This article analyzes the manifestation of a predisposition to risk-related virtual games among individuals with material responsibility. The main characteristics of gambling addiction, such as a propensity for risk-taking, impulsive and compulsive behavior, are highlighted, and the impact of this addiction on personal and social factors is examined. Methods for preventing and treating gambling addiction are extensively analyzed, including cognitive behavioral therapy, individual and family counseling, as well as social support systems.
