Annotatsiya

The issue of HIV infection and AIDS remains a pressing concern on a global scale. Despite significant advancements in medicine, successful treatment of HIV/AIDS is impossible without addressing psycho-emotional aspects. Psychological adaptation of patients is crucial for adhering to treatment regimens, preventing depression, anxiety, and social isolation, as well as improving quality of life. Furthermore, HIV-infected individuals often face social stigmatization, discrimination, and high levels of psychological stress, making them more vulnerable to developing mental disorders. This underscores the need for a comprehensive approach to treatment, incorporating not only medical but also psychological and social interventions. Given the growing number of HIV-positive people worldwide and insufficient awareness of the importance of psychological rehabilitation, the development and implementation of effective psychosocial support programs remain extremely relevant. This article draws attention to this issue, proposes strategies for improving the psychological well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS, and emphasizes the need for further scientific research in this field.
