This article examines the causes of corruption crimes in the field of public civil service, legal measures for their prevention and combating, and investigates the activities of state bodies and the status of current legislation in this area. Additionally, it analyzes the opinions expressed at the meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 5, 2025, and the tasks outlined for future corruption prevention. The article also explores various abuses that occur when employees fail to comply with ethical norms and rules of official conduct, different methods for effective anti-corruption activities in the state civil service, ways to enhance the role of the prosecutor's office in fighting corruption, anti-corruption efforts in higher education, and the specifics of resolving conflicts of interest. Based on scientific research and statistical data, scientific conclusions, proposals, and recommendations have been developed for the prevention of corruption crimes in the field of public civil service.
