The article analyzes the advocacy system, which is considered an important step in ensuring the effective functioning of the legal profession and improving its position within the legal environment. A self-governing body for lawyers would be beneficial not only for attorneys but for the entire legal system. The establishment of this body will serve to protect lawyers' rights, register documents related to their activities, and ensure the independence of their representatives in resolving legally significant matters. Simultaneously, it is crucial to conduct a scientific-theoretical and practical analysis of the models for organizing a system of self-governing bodies for lawyers in our country.
