This article describes the exemplary courage displayed by the sons of Uzbekistan on the battlefields during the Stalingrad strategic defense and encirclement operation. Notably, in the defense of Stalingrad, on hill 115.2, a group of 11 Central Asian fighters led by Mikhail Kabribov fought for 12 days against an enemy force 30 times their size. The enemy repeatedly attacked the hill these warriors were defending, unleashing a barrage of machine gun fire, mortar shells, and artillery. However, nothing could compel the warriors to abandon their positions. They successfully prevented the enemy from breaking through, thereby creating conditions for their battalion's success. In memory of the fallen warriors, this hill was named "The Hill of the 11 Heroes of the East".
