This scientific article examines the role of customs authorities as a law enforcement agency in combating crimes within the customs sphere. It explores the cooperation between customs authorities and the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies in addressing customs-related offenses and analyzes the concept of crimes in the customs domain. The article highlights the threat posed by customs crimes to the economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan and emphasizes the social need to enhance the organizational and legal framework for combating such offenses.
