This article examines the formation of a new system based on land ownership, which emerged from the synthesis of the declining Roman slave system and the tribal structure of Germanic peoples. It explores the impact of these changes on English society, highlighting its distinctive features and social stratification. The topic is illuminated using both literature published in our country dedicated to medieval history and other foreign language sources.
