This article focuses on the socio-philosophical challenges and opportunities in developing essential spiritual and moral competencies in higher education. Special emphasis is placed on the professional moral qualities of national personnel as fundamental moral and ethical competencies. The article underscores the importance of a convergent approach in developing core competencies (spiritual, ethical, and professional) in higher education to meet the needs of contemporary society. Additionally, the article summarizes and contrasts the perspectives of both domestic and international authors on this subject.
