The current state, place, and role of the advocacy institution in the Republic of Uzbekistan are studied in the article. The author analyzes the norms of the Constitution in the new edition, laws, resolutions, and decrees of the President regulating the advocacy institution, in connection with which the issues of further strengthening the guarantees of advocacy are examined. The views and opinions of scientists who have devoted their work to advocacy problems are studied, and proposals are formed to improve the effectiveness of the advocacy institution.
