The article discusses some issues related to the application of Article 233 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, concerning the illegal disposal of property that has been seized. In particular, the problems associated with the correct determination of the subject of a given crime are analyzed. The author formulates conclusions and proposals for improving current law enforcement practice in this area.
