Chronic cerebral ischemia (CCI) is one of the most pressing problems of modern neurology, characterized by persistent impairment of cognitive functions and a significant decrease in the quality of life of patients. According to the results of epidemiological studies, the prevalence of CCI among people over 65 reaches 35-40%. At the same time, a further increase in morbidity is predicted due to an increase in life expectancy and the widespread prevalence of vascular risk factors.
