This study investigates the correlation between histological alterations and modern neuroimaging findings (MRI and CT) in traumatic brain injury (TBI). Autopsy and imaging data of 40 patients (2023–2024) were analyzed. Histological examination revealed parenchymal hemorrhages, brain edema, neuronal dystrophy, and venous congestion. MRI/CT findings showed hematomas, mass effect, and intracranial hypertension with an overall radiomorphologic concordance of 77%. The strongest correlations were observed for hemorrhage (ρ=0.86) and edema (ρ=0.79). The results demonstrate that combined histologic and imaging analysis is crucial for accurate diagnosis, prognosis, and understanding of brain injury pathogenesis.
