Facial Sympathalgia is one of the pain syndromes affecting the facial region, primarily developing in connection with dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. This condition arises under the influence of various etiological factors, including traumatic impacts, nearby somatic and visceral diseases, as well as central nervous system pathologies. Facial sympathalgias hold particular significance in clinical neurology, as they are often associated with neuropathic pain and present considerable challenges in diagnosis.
