In recent years, the number of patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction pain syndrome has increased, which occurs in the majority of the adult population of developed countries: from 21.1 to 99%. This disease takes the leading place among the most common functional disorders of the face-jaw area. Today, it is desirable for patients suffering from the pain syndrome of pain syndrome of TMJ to receive integrated treatment. This article describes the results of the research on early and correct diagnosis and the correct selection of treatment methods for patients with TMJ pain syndrome.
