Degenerative calcification of the aorta and blood vessels is a pathological process associated with the deposition of calcium on the walls of the aorta and other vessels, which is often associated with age-related changes and other risk factors. The causes of this process are diverse, but the main ones are: age-related changes, atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, gender, and smoking. The increase in the age of the population observed in recent years in most developed countries of the world is causing an increase in degenerative calcification of the aorta and blood vessels. In addition, degenerative calcification of the heart occupies a leading position among the diseases found in the elderly. This study is devoted to the study ofpatterns of observation of etiological factors in the origin of the disease in elderly patients who have degenerative changes in the cardiovascular system.
