Aim. To study the efficacy of Ksavron and Teraligen in the treatment of stroke developing against the background of anxiety-depressive syndrome. Materials and methods. A total of 120 stroke patients (65 men and 55 women, mean age 57 years) were examined at the Neurology Department of Samarkand State Medical University. All patients were hospitalized with a diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke, accompanied by symptoms of anxiety and depression. Patients were divided into two groups: Main group (65 patients) – received Ksavron and Teraligen as part of comprehensive therapy. Control group (55 patients) – received only standard treatment methods. The psychoneurological status of patients was assessed using the following scales: Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) – to assess cognitive functions. Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAM-A) – to determine the level of anxiety. Results. In the main group, after 1 year, anxiety and depression symptoms decreased by more than 60%. Dizziness and vegetative disorders were twice as rare in the main group compared to the control group. Motor function recovery occurred faster in the main group, with significant improvement in hand movement coordination. Cognitive activity, assessed by the MMSE scale, increased by 3.5 points in the main group, compared to only 1.2 points in the control group. Conclusion. The neuroprotective effect of Ksavron and the anxiolytic properties of Teraligen accelerate post-stroke rehabilitation and may serve as an effective complementary approach in the treatment of stroke patients with anxiety-depressive syndrome.
