Annotatsiya

Migraine and fibromyalgia are complex disorders of the central nervous system that share both similar and distinct pathophysiological characteristics. The development of these diseases is driven by common pathophysiological mechanisms, with central sensitization, neurotransmitter imbalance, and neuroinflammation playing key roles. This article analyzes the common and distinct pathogenetic mechanisms of migraine and fibromyalgia. Special attention is given to the role of central sensitization, neurotransmitter imbalance, and neuroinflammatory processes in the progression of these disorders. The research findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the relationship between migraine and fibromyalgia and are of significant importance for improving diagnostic and treatment approaches.
