There are several categories of patients with mental disorders that require a special approach. They included 5 people with mood disorders (anxiety, depression, anger), patients with physical illusions and hallucinations, patients with excessive negative and obsessive thoughts about doctors, patients with personality disorders, and mentally retarded patients who need special oral care. Some studies show that the patient's mental state can significantly affect the clinical course of dental diseases, which is especially important. manifests itself in patients with phobias and anxiety disorders.
