The main aim of this work is to carry out measurements of radon and its daughter product’s activity in newly-built two- and three-storeyed houses in winter and summer seasons, an assessment of annual effective doses received with residents and determination of radon exhalation rates from soils, building materials and walls of houses. The measurements are carried out with using CR-39 detectors. The results of measurements are shown, that the mean values of indoor radon activities and annual effective doses in houses were more than permissible limit. The values of radon exhalation rate from soils, building materials and walls have low values then radiation safety standard.
