The significance of the teachings of imam maturidi in preventing the spread of radical ideas among youth

It is known that young people are the nation’s hope and pillar, its treasure and wealth. Based on their mental and physical energy, the nation will rise, and development and prosperity will be ensured. But today, the Muslim community is facing the threat of losing its youth. There are two major threats to young people right now. The first is their loss of identity as a result of westernization, and the second is the growing tendency of young people to radicalize and extremism. As a result of this, there is a situation of delusion among young people about various alien ideas. Pure Islamic belief has a great role in preventing such negative situations. In this article, based on the legacy of Imam Maturidi and the teachings of Maturidiyya, important opinions are presented on protecting young people from today’s threats and directing them to enlightenment.
