A comprehensive analysis of the composition of a multicomponent alloy, primarily consistingof the elements Si, Na, Cr, Ni, Mg, Zn, Al, and Zr, synthesized in an aqueous NaCl electrolytesolution, was conducted. The study utilized high-resolution electron microscopy, energydispersiveX-ray spectroscopy (EDS), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Microscopy revealed aheterogeneous porous structure, indicating potential applications in catalysis, filtration, and drug delivery. EDS identified a complex elemental composition with a predominance of Siand O, a significant amount of NaCl, and trace amounts of various metals. XRD confirmedthat the main crystalline phase is NaCl with a nanocrystalline size, and the presence of impuritiessuch as SiO2, ZnO, and TiO2 may cause slight deviations in the NaCl lattice parameters. The calculated density of NaCl shows good agreement with the reference value. Although Ni,Mg, Al, Zr, and W were detected by EDS, the low concentration makes their unambiguousidentification by XRD difficult. The obtained results suggest a multi-component material witha porous structure, where NaCl is the dominant phase, and the silicate component andmetal traces may influence its properties and potential applications, requiring further investigation.
