This article discusses the development and implementation of indicators for assessing the development of civil society, the level of interaction of its institutions with state bodies, as well as their contribution to the socio-economic development of the country, on the basis of which the trend of civil society in Uzbekistan is based and is developing. The article also analyzes the problems of the development of civil society institutions, increasing the activity of citizens, as well as the participation of non-governmental organizations in the development and implementation of programs for the socio-economic development of the country.
