The Sapalli culture, the local northern Bactrian variant of the Oxus Civilization that was flourished from the 20th to the 15th century BC. In todays, about 45 monuments of Sapalli culture have been identified in the territory of southern Uzbekistan, 12 of them have been excavated. The owners of this culture are considered a team that has developed agriculture and animal husbandry, as well as handicrafts, and has achieved great success, especially in the field of jewelry, which is a branch of handicrafts. All kinds of jewellery that are being worn by people today, were found from the monuments of Sapalli culture such as pins, hairpins, diademas, earrings, beads, necklaces, pendants, amulets, bracelets and rings. It is scientifically analyzed information about function and types of jewellery that were found from the monuments of Sapalli culture in this article.
